Warm songs for a cold winter

I truly believe that The Damnwells are one of the most underrated bands of the past few years, and anyone that listens to them will probably agree. I was lucky enough to be introduced to them a few years ago and have been a fan for quite some time. Overall, the songwriting and ideas they try to get across in each song make for an easy listen. The smart lyrics, pop melodies, and their "Gin Blossoms" like nostalgia, carry what's left of the last century's folk music and what it is to be someone in New York City. This is Alex, he writes the songs.
